Key Lime Pie

If you have a sweet tooth this will cure it. I guarantee it. No kidding, if you have a craving for something sweet that just can't be filled, this will do it, I promise. I found this the other day, tweaked it a little, and had to try it because my Bountiful Baskets have been full of limes lately. Here you go. Simple. Easy. Fast. Sweet.


A prepared graham cracker crust, or
- 8 crushed graham crackers mixed with
-1/4 cup melted butter
Pressed into a pie pan, and baked at 350 F for 8 minutes.

3 small cans of sweetened condensed milk
2/3 cup sour cream
1 cup lime juice
1 Tablespoon lime zest
Mix the milk, sour cream, lime juice and lime zest together and pour into the graham cracker crust. It's that easy.
Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F. Bake only for 5 to 8 minutes. Wait until you see small bubbles forming and then popping on the top of the pie. No longer than 10 minutes even if you don't see bubbles, do not brown.
Allow to cool completely and then chill in refridgerator. Serve cold with whipped cream and lime slices. It was so sweet so I squeezed my lime on top, wow! That made it perfect!

Fix that old sweet tooth. Bring this to a get together and no one will ever know it only took you 5 minutes to mix up, 8 minutes to cook and a couple hours to cool. 100% real food too!
